The role will support the international business and distribution arrangements for Irish funds across EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the legal aspects of fund documentation updates, new fund launches, fund modifications, and terminations.
* Cooordinating and supporting global regulatory filings, shareholder engagement and investor/distributor processes and documentation.
* Advising on, negotiating and amending fund agreements including material agreements, investment management agreements, distribution agreements and other fund-related agreements.
* Presenting relevant topics at Fund Board and governance meetings.
The ideal candidate should have investment management industry experience in a similar role, including a strong working knowledge of UCITS/AIFMD frameworks, Central Bank of Ireland guidance/requirements vis-a-vis investment funds and fund ManCos, and cross-border distribution experience. The individual should be able to communicate confidently with all levels of the organisation, work well within a team environment, own and drive forward workload and use initiative to continually assess and improve existing processes.
