We have an exciting new job vacancy available for the right candidate.. The Royal Arklow is seeking for an experienced Junior Sous chef/Sous chef to manage the day to day running of our new busy kitchen.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the kitchen's daily operations
Liaising with suppliers for food orders
Creating new dishes and menus.
Work directly with the General manager to ensure high quality food and profit margins
Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.
Minimum Requirements
1-2 years' experience in a similar role
Previous experience in a hotel or gastro bar is strongly preferred
Highly motivated and a strong leader
Strong management experience
Fluent English and valid work permit is essential

Pay: €30,361.54-€38,000.00 per year
