Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design specifications and create detailed steel fabrication drawings.
* Utilize CAD software to produce accurate shop drawings, erection plans, and material lists.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the detailing process.
* Coordinate with production teams to facilitate seamless fabrication and assembly processes.
* Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
* Maintain organized documentation and project files for reference and future use.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Structural Steel Detailer or similar role within the steel fabrication industry.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
* Strong knowledge of structural steel design principles, techniques, and materials.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Familiarity with industry standards such as AISC, AWS, and OSHA regulations.
Education & Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
* Certification in structural detailing or CAD drafting is a plus.
