Director @ Amicus | Sales and Marketing Recruitment Expert 087 977 2742
My client is a leading professional services firm, and due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Executive to join their team. Close to 2 years ago, they had 3 Partners and 15 staff; today, they have 6 Partners and nearly 50 employees. While being part of a larger global organization, there remains a family-like atmosphere within the Irish firm.
Why consider this opportunity? It offers diversity in responsibilities, a growing firm with approachable colleagues (led by the Country Manager who leads by example), and a key figure in the team, Julie, the Head of Marketing. Julie brings extensive experience in the professional services sector, is personable, and invested in team development. She states, "Denis, I have been here 18 months and am really enjoying it. We have a diverse client portfolio, including arts and tech sectors. Everyone here is approachable. This role involves management, marketing, and business development. I will support this person, but they will be encouraged to make the role their own. It’s an exciting time to join as we expand, reflected in our upcoming office move." Julie is a fantastic mentor and a great colleague to learn from.
The salary range for this role is from €60,000 to €70,000. It is a hybrid role, based in city center offices, with a move to new, state-of-the-art premises planned later this year due to continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify relevant sector conferences, events, and sponsorship opportunities to enhance our profile, coordinate attendance, and ensure follow-up to maximize ROI.
2. Manage participation in industry events, liaising with organizers to maximize visibility.
3. Assist in developing pitches, proposals, and client presentations aligned with brand messaging.
4. Create and oversee digital marketing content, including website updates, social media, newsletters, brochures, and thought leadership articles.
5. Support the social media strategy to ensure engagement and brand consistency across platforms like LinkedIn.
6. Monitor marketing performance metrics, prepare reports, and suggest improvements.
7. Manage the firm's business development pipeline, maintaining contacts and client interactions.
8. Coordinate legal directory submissions and partner interview preparations.
9. Collaborate with practice groups to develop sector-specific BD strategies.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in business development and marketing within a corporate or professional services environment, such as law or finance:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing and business development roles.
* Proficiency in IT tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; experience with CRM systems like Dealcloud is a plus.
* Proven track record of creating and executing marketing initiatives.
* Confidence with digital marketing platforms and campaign optimization.
* Ability to work independently, managing projects proactively.
* Accuracy in marketing materials, proposals, and communications.
* Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and presentations.
