The Role
Responsible for the domestic services function within hospital and community premises through the effective deployment of staff resources to ensure effective cleaning methods, the control of infection and the promotion of a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Good Personal Hygiene
A full, valid UK/EU/EEA drivers licence.
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
Domestic Supervisors Training Programme (provided internally).
Elementary Food Hygiene (provided internally).
First Line Management (provided as personal development).
BICSc qualification in healthcare.
Qualified to ILM Standard
SVQ in cleaning science.
Experience of working within an NHS environment including awareness of Health & Safety Practices, & COSHH.
Domestic Services Monitoring experience.
General awareness of NHS business.
Computer Literate.
Good communication skills – including written and verbal.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Ability to work as an individual and also as a team member.
Ability to work on own initiative and make appropriate decisions

Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Domestic Services within Udston Hospital
The working pattern for this role Saturday & Sunday (7.30am - 14:00pm)
