Candidates must be experienced Social Care practitioners. They must hold hold a degree in Social Care or equivalent relevant qualification, and must be registered with CORU.Candidates should;Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working as Social Care Worker in an area providing services for people with an intellectual disability.Demonstrated ability to lead teams in delivering person-centred, individualised care plans, ensuring dignity, respect, and tailored support for each individual.Experience working within residential services is desirable.Experience working in a management role would be advantageous.Must be Registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.Trained and experienced in the Safe Administration of Medication.Excellent working knowledge of HIQA and other relevant bodies.Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed.Have strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.Have a multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery.Have a B Full Licence for at least 2 yearsD1 licence desirableKnowledge and experience of working with people presenting with challenging behaviour would be an advantage .
