We are seeking fully qualified technicians for our Ford Store in Sandyford who are authorized to work in Ireland without restrictions.
About The Role
1. Report to the Workshop Controller as a Technician.
2. Service vehicles according to the highest standards and manufacturer guidelines.
3. Diagnose, test, and repair faults using the latest technology in our state-of-the-art facilities.
4. Work with a range of brands, including the latest PHEV and EV models.
5. Receive ongoing training on evolving technologies.
6. Perform and report on vehicle health checks.
7. Communicate with the service desk regarding requirements, parts, and repairs.
8. Support and train apprentices and colleagues as part of a team.
Skills And Experience
1. Up to 3 years of experience as a technician, or a 4th-year apprentice, or completed a European automotive training program.
2. Ability to diagnose, test, and repair using modern technology.
3. Experience with EV and PHEV vehicles is advantageous but not essential.
4. Attention to detail in documentation and IT systems.
5. Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
6. Valid, clean driving license.
7. Understanding of health and safety practices in the industry.
8. Must hold a valid work permit for Ireland if from outside the EEA.
