Purpose of the role: The role of the Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist- Acute Rehabilitation Pathway is to establish and provide an acute Speech and Language Therapy rehabilitation service for patients presenting from the acute floor with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties, including those patients presenting post traumatic brain injury.
