We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Food Trading Specialist. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will play a vital role in sourcing high-quality food products from Italy while ensuring the best possible price and delivery terms.
About this Role
1. Work collaboratively with Category Managers and other stakeholders to develop new product lines and improve existing ones;
2. Negotiate contracts with Italian suppliers, focusing on cost reduction and market analysis;
3. Liaise with Data & Insights Manager and Commercial Analyst to inform decision-making around procurement strategies;
4. Maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders across Sysco Europe, including SMSI, IFG, PGM intertrade systems."],
