Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
The role involves leading and reviewing the work of junior engineers, developing specifications for mechanical services, and ensuring alignment between specifications and drawings.
* Design Leadership: Lead and review design work of junior engineers.
* Specification Compilation: Develop specifications for mechanical services and installations.
* Coordination: Ensure full alignment between specifications and drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Handle estimating, cost control, and project reporting.
* Planning: Conduct conceptual design studies and prepare reports.
* Mentorship: Train and support the professional development of junior and intermediate engineers.
* Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting in a client-facing role.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to define electrical design constraints and coordinate with other disciplines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
* Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.
