Vhi Group Services DAC have a full-time, Fixed Term Contract (12 Months), vacancy for the role of Solicitor based in Dublin. The successful candidate will provide legal advice to the Vhi Group and work within the Vhi legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel.
Previous in-house experience is not required but would be advantageous.

What will you do
* Drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts including but not limited to NDAs, Service Level Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Purchase and Supply Agreements etc.
* Providing advices on certain regulatory matters for the insurance business.
* Advising on litigation matters and providing employment law advices.
* Provision of legal advices on commercial strategy, including drafting/ reviewing commercial agreements.
* Participating in projects and advising on the legal issues arising out of same.
What you need to be successful
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
* Qualified solicitor with 4 years' plus experience in a top or mid-tier law firm,
* Experience in practice areas such as employment law and corporate is preferable.
Interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to work autonomously within a collaborative and fast paced business environment.
* Proven ability to strike a balance between legal protections and commercial flexibility.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with other members of the legal team and cross functional teams on organisational projects.
