About the Company: Join a leading mechanical contractor with a strong reputation in the Irish construction industry. Our client specializes in delivering high-quality mechanical services across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer based in Ireland with expertise in HVAC and Building
Management Systems (BMS) to join their dynamic team.
****Please not you must be living in Ireland to be considered for this role****
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and oversee the installation of HVAC and BMS systems for various projects.
* Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
* Perform technical reviews and provide solutions to engineering challenges.
* Conduct system commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
* Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
* Prepare project documentation, reports, and technical submissions.
* Assist in cost estimation and value engineering initiatives.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in HVAC and BMS systems within the mechanical contracting or construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical design, building regulations, and energy efficiency standards.
* Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other mechanical design software is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and project coordination skills.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
