Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities and utilities teams.
This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong leadership skills. As a key member of the site management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations and maintenance of critical utility systems, including HVAC, water systems, compressed air, power distribution, and waste management.
* Ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), and other regulatory standards.
* Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and other personnel responsible for facility operations.
* Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility services, ensuring quality and compliance with contract terms.
* Develop and execute emergency response plans related to facility and utility systems.
* Oversee construction, renovation, and upgrade projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to standards.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
* 8+ years of experience in maintenance and engineering within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device environment.
* Strong knowledge of GMP, EHS, and relevant regulatory standards.
* Expertise in maintenance of pharmaceutical utilities, such as HVAC, water systems, compressed air, refrigeration, and cleanrooms.
* Proficiency in CMMS (SAP, Maximo, etc.).
* Knowledge of automation, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
