As
Assistant Quality Manager
, you'll be at the heart of the technical and quality function, supporting innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement on site. Working closely with the Quality Manager, you'll lead initiatives that not only maintain the highest standards but also help shape the future growth of the business.

Full-time permanent position
Salary: €50'000-€60'000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30AM-5.00pm

Location: Co. Longford
What you'll be doing:
* Champion compliance across supplier monitoring and control processes
* Manage customer specifications, questionnaires, and tender documents with accuracy and efficiency
* Lead and complete internal audits (traceability, fabrication, etc.) and follow through on corrective actions
* Support new product development projects, ensuring products meet both customer and regulatory requirements
* Oversee calibration of all measuring equipment on site
* Deliver engaging food safety training to staff, promoting a culture of quality and accountability
* Lead the hygiene team, ensuring best-in-class standards across the site
* Take ownership of customer queries and complaints, driving swift and effective resolutions
* Play a key role in maintaining and implementing QMS and HACCP systems
* Act as deputy to the Technical Manager, stepping up when required
* Provide support to the Technical Manager across additional projects and requirements
What we're looking for:
* A degree in Food Science or a related discipline
* 3+ years' experience in a food manufacturing environment within a similar role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels
* A self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
* Solid knowledge of HACCP, QMS, BRC, and retailer standards
* IT savvy with strong attention to detail and organisational skills
