Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Young People's Support Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people within our residential service.

About the Role

This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide necessary care and support to young people with complex needs.

You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each young person.

Our service is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment that enables young people to reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to young people, including assistance with daily living tasks, education, and leisure activities.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of young people.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure the highest standards of care and safety.

• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the maintenance of accurate records and reports.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies at all times.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.


Requirements

• A minimum level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant equivalent.

• Full, clean, manual driver's license (valid in Ireland).

• Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.

• Eligible to work in Ireland.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and support.
