This role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer to step into a commercial, customer‑facing position while staying closely connected to technical work and project delivery. You will focus on generating new business and supporting automation, robotics, and vision‑system projects alongside an experienced engineering team. The role is primarily office‑based, involving proactive outreach to potential clients, alongside some client meetings and site visits.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business through proactive outreach and relationship‑building
Identify customer needs and develop tailored technical proposals
Prepare quotations in collaboration with engineering teams
Manage projects from order stage through to delivery
Liaise with internal and international engineering teams to gather technical requirements
Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Automation or similar)
Experience in a customer‑facing engineering or technical role
Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Interest or experience in robotics, automation, or vision systems
