POSITION MISSION & MAIN ACTIVITIES
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Prepare, review and submit Financial Reporting obligations for AXA Group (IFRS), Local reporting (FRS *******)
Preparation of financial reporting schedules for submission to Irish & Italian regulators
Preparation of budgeting and forecasting schedules for submission to group
Lead contact with External auditors to successfully complete annual audit
Assist in the processes associated with Group and Local Solvency II reporting and filing
Production of MI reports (both periodic and ad-hoc) for parent company
Prepare the documentation appropriate to the Internal Financial Controls process
Prepare documents for the reporting of Shareholder assets
Assist in preparation of taxation schedules
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Completion of reports according to Group timetable including Quarterly Reporting Forecasting and Budgeting.
Preparation Preliminary CT filings, CT return etc.
Exception free Internal Financial Control Report
Exception free Solvency II Control Report
Unqualified Audit opinion by External Auditors
Assist in producing timely and accurate monthly reporting schedules
Communicate and liaise with third parties
Meet reporting targets for Regulatory returns
Projects specified by the Financial Controller / CFO

PROFILE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Qualifications
Qualified accountant and member of a recognised Accountancy body or equivalent with post qualification experience
Knowledge
Knowledge in Solvency II requirements
Knowledge of IFRS reporting
Knowledge of GAAP reporting
Knowledge of Irish tax and life insurance legislationUnderstanding of products sold through life assurance markets
Skills
Excellent written and oral communication
Presentation skills
Excellent PC Skills (Excel)
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to learn quickly.
Be comfortable working in a relatively small team / company
