We are currently recruiting for Full-Time Physiotherapist to work in Clondalkin Lodge, Dublin 22
The purpose of this post is to provide a comprehensive Physiotherapy service to patients in Bartra Healthcare, Clondalkin Lodge. The key focus of this post will be promotion of independence to patients based on a multidisciplinary directed SMART bespoke goal setting model
Role and Responsibilities
* Carry a clinical caseload appropriate to the post
* Be responsible for patient assessment, development and implementation of individualised treatment plans that are patient centred and in line with best practice
* Be responsible for goal setting in partnership with patient, family and other team members as appropriate
* Be responsible for standards of practice of self and staff appointed to clinical / designated area(s)
* Communicate and work in co-operation with the multidisciplinary team.
* Oversee and monitor the standards of best practice within their physiotherapy team
* Review and evaluate the physiotherapy service regularly, identifying changing needs and opportunities to improve services
Qualifications
* Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU – candidates must state CORU registration number on application, or CORU application number and date of submission if still awaiting registration number in the case of section 91 applicants.
* Relevant Experience, ideally in a acute setting/ hospital/ healthcare sector
Required:
* Full Driver's licence
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and in challenging situations.
* Ability to work using own initiative and be flexible
Desirable:
* Evidence of CPD in area of physical and intellectual disability (desirable)
* Evidence of CPD in leadership/mentoring (desirable)
