Job Description
To work as a member of the IT Operations Group, to provide excellent IT support to our internal customers across all EMEA sites.
Role and Responsibilities
* Work as a team member within the IT Operations Group EMEA.
* Provide daily user support for Limerick Manufacturing and EMEA systems/users.
* Work with the company’s IT Service Management processes and methodologies.
* Build, configure and support local IT systems—primarily Windows, Linux, VMware.
* Proactively identify areas for service/system improvement and work with the team to implement these improvements across EMEA.
* Take ownership of second‑level support calls and escalate where appropriate.
* Troubleshoot issues with users relating to PCs, terminals, FAB tools and servers.
* Provide support to on‑site and remote users.
* Manage and perform daily, weekly and monthly tasks in accordance with company procedures.
* Represent the business in a professional and positive manner at all times with clients and vendors.
* Maintain a positive attitude when faced with challenging circumstances and changing business needs.
* Develop and maximize ideas and opportunities in order to promote new technologies.
* Grasp opportunities to develop the role in Windows and Linux administration, virtualization and other relevant technologies.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Relevant third level qualification or a degree in Computer Science / Information Technology.
