Reference Number: Cyber Security Incident Responder

Note: These are not SOC roles.
Our client is seeking several experienced Incident Responders capable of quickly addressing security incidents and threats:
1. Prevention, detection, and response
2. Prioritizing alerts and tasks
3. Investigating and conducting forensics on incidents
In this role, you will utilize various forensics tools to identify root causes, limit damage, and prevent recurrence. Your responsibilities will also include education and proactive security measures.
You should be an industry-experienced Incident Response Specialist with the ability to lead incident engagements across different staffing levels. A solid understanding of the necessary people, processes, and technology is essential.
You will generate and share contextual, actionable security threat information and reports. Providing expert advice, setting priorities, and following up on remedial actions are key parts of your role. You will interact with both managerial and highly technical staff internally and externally. Your goal is to prevent attacks or mitigate their impact.
Professional Experience
* Several years of experience in Cyber Security and Incident Response
* A passion for the field; continuous learning is essential
* Strong background in Incident Response and Digital Forensics
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, ECSA, GISP, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA) are a plus
* This role can be stressful and requires flexibility, adaptability, and excellent multi-tasking skills. Panickers and procrastinators need not apply.
