Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie to join a dynamic kitchen team in The City Centre. In this role, you will assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within your assigned section. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your section according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
* Monitor portion control and minimize waste to support kitchen efficiency.
* Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations.
* Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu items through suggestions and feedback.
* Support junior staff with training and guidance as needed.
* Ensure all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned, maintained, and stored.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role or a strong commis background in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen.
* Culinary qualification or relevant training preferred.
* Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards (e.g., HACCP).
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure.
* Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for food.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
