ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing multidisciplinary design consultancy based in Galway, for a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and deliver medium-large scale infrastructure projects nationwide for a variety of blue‑chip clients.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of civil and structural engineering projects, from initial concept through to completion.
* Oversee site development works, including drainage, utilities, earthworks, and road design.
* Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across projects.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, supporting their professional development.
* Engage with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure designs meet all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Produce and review technical drawings, models, and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM/Revit.
* Deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Conduct site visits and inspections.
Requirements
* An Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 8 or higher).
* 6+ years’ post‑graduate experience in civil engineering design.
* A strong portfolio of experience delivering medium to large‑scale building and infrastructure projects.
* Advanced knowledge of site development works, utilities, road design, drainage, and earthworks.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, with strong skills in Civil 3D and BIM/Revit highly desirable.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
* A full driving licence and access to your own transport.
* Experience liaising with local authorities and clients.
