Come work with us! We are offering an exciting opportunity as a Seawater Farms Manager in our Southwest Sites in Ireland. This will be a permanent position based at our Seawater sites in Kenmare Bay, Co. Cork, and Co. Kerry, involving the management of two seawater farms.
The successful candidate will be part of the local management team, report directly to the Regional Manager, and have the opportunity to progress within our Seawater department.
This post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The preferred candidate will work a 39-hour week, any 5 days out of 7.

About the job
The farm manager’s role is crucial to the operations and success of our business, ensuring optimal management of our salmon. We require managers to strive for continuous improvement and to deliver on all aspects of farm work to keep the team on track and performing well. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Accountability for the safe and successful operation of your farms.
* Managing production teams across two sites.
* Overseeing all aspects of farm operations.
* Maintaining high standards in biosecurity, fish husbandry, and welfare.
* Leading feeding, control, and inspection of fish.
* Managing budgets and financial control.
* Developing innovative ideas to improve staff and stock performance.
* Controlling contractors working on your sites.
* Staff planning, including work schedules and holidays.
* Assisting with internal and external audits.
* Ensuring all reports and paperwork are current and accurate.
* Qualifications: A third-level Aquaculture qualification is desirable; qualifications in a related field will be considered.
* Previous salmon farming experience is desirable.
* Extensive fish husbandry, biology, and welfare experience.
* Flexible approach to meet job demands.
* Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and professional development.
* Respect for safe working practices.
* High computer literacy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
