Care Delivery and Management
The Care Services Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to vulnerable individuals. Reporting to the Operations Director, this manager will oversee service management and development, aligning with organizational strategy while maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding Praxis Care values.
About This Role:
* Develop and implement user-focused programs that prioritize respect, privacy, dignity, fulfillment, independence, and choice.
* Oversee referral, admission, and review procedures, collaborating with statutory agencies, individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create person-centered care plans.
* Monitor and support individuals towards increased independence, reviewing each person's needs in partnership with them and agency teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle issues or complaints sensitively and appropriately, adhering to policy and procedure.
* Coordinate staff vacancies, selection, recruitment, and induction, partnering with Support Services.
* Provide quality-driven leadership, supervising staff, managing workloads, assessing qualifications, and identifying development needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in health and social care.
* Relevant qualification (QQI Level 6) and full valid driving license.
* Proficiency in using IT software, change management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in assessing needs.
