Post ID: Post Summary: As part of the expansion of our Cyber Security services, Trinity College is seeking a suitably qualified and highly experienced infrastructure security specialist to work within IT Services.
This new role is a result of the Universitys commitment to proactive cyber security of the digital estate and ensuring a security posture that protects the academic mission of the university.
The successful candidate will be an expert contributor to the work of the Universitys cyber security assurance programme and a part of the Universitys cyber incident response.
A primary responsibility of this position is to mitigate cyber risks in the large, complex, centralised IT infrastructure of the University.
This critical infrastructure provides all of the core ICT services to over 26,000 staff and students, as well as guests and visitors to Trinity, and provide connectivity for upwards of 100,000 devices across the wired and wireless network.
Post status: Permanent Contract Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-6), Salary Scale (€70,240 - €111,219 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
