Location: LouthCompany: Small Developer (Residential Projects)
Overview
We are working with a growing residential developer based in Drogheda who is looking to appoint an experienced Working Foreman to join their team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who has come through the trades and has strong experience delivering housing developments from greenfield through to completion.
You will play a key role on site, overseeing day‑to‑day operations while remaining actively involved in the build.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily site operations on residential housing projects
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour
Ensure works are carried out in line with project drawings, specifications, and timelines
Actively participate in site work where required (hands‑on approach expected)
Drive programme delivery and maintain project schedules
Ensure high standards of quality control across all stages of the build
Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, ensuring compliance at all times
Liaise with site management, engineers, and project stakeholders
Troubleshoot and resolve on‑site issues efficiently
Requirements
Proven experience as a Working Foreman on residential housing developments
Strong background in house building from groundworks through to handover
Trade background (carpentry or similar preferred)
Experience working with small to mid‑sized developers is an advantage
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Strong leadership and communication skills
Hands‑on, proactive approach with a strong work ethic
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience managing multiple units/phases on housing developments
Basic IT skills for reporting and communication
