Electrical Contracts Manager – Dublin
About the Role
Designer Group is seeking an experienced
Electrical Contracts Manager
to join our Operations team in Dublin. You'll take ownership of multiple large-scale electrical contracts running concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
This is a senior leadership role where you'll oversee Site Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and other project leads – driving performance, commercial outcomes, and client satisfaction across every project under your control.
What You'll Do
* Lead electrical contracts from tender through to successful delivery
* Oversee design development, value engineering, and project planning
* Manage subcontractors, procurement, and specialist electrical installations
* Monitor resources, budgets, schedules, and technical performance
* Provide weekly progress reports (RFIs, procurement schedules, technical submittals, programme updates)
* Chair meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
* Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for future projects
What We're Looking For
* 10+ years' experience in the electrical contracting sector
* A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar (desirable but not essential)
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving ability
* Commercial acumen with a proven track record of successful project delivery
