Successful candidates will provide high-quality holistic care to residents, ensuring residents' needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident's dignity at all times. As a Healthcare you Assistant you will be providing person-centred care to elderly people in a residential care home/nursing home.
Available locations: Dublin, Kildare, Meath,Clare, Donegal, Wicklow, Mayo, Laois, Cavan, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Portlaoise.
Contract type: Full time, permanent
Work schedule: Day Shifts & Night Shifts - flexibility required
Salary range: €14.17 - €15.00 DOE

Qualifications and Skills
14. Healthcare related qualification OR relative experience in a similar environment is desirable.
15. Availability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends, across Monday to Sunday is essential.
16. B1 Level of English

General Responsibilities:
27. Provide care to residents ensuring their independence is promoted and that residents' dignity is maintained at all times. This will involve following your clients care plan - assistance with personal care and mobility.

29. Developing and maintaining good relationships with residents and their families.
30. Adhering to confidentiality policy at all times.
31. Ensuring resident safety through a high level of observation skills, accurate recording & reporting.
32. Deliver high quality care and assistance to our residents as per their Care Plan – personal care, toileting, moving & transferring.
33. Observe, listen and engage with residents.
34. Be punctual and manage time effectively.
35. Communicate any changes or concerns in relation to resident needs/care.
36. Adhere to Health & Safety and Infection Prevention and Control regulations.
