Logistics and Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a Logistics and Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic Solutions and Service Team at our Siemens Glasnevin site!
You will play a pivotal role in the efficient management of materials, inventory, and logistics, ensuring seamless operations for our service engineers and customers.
Beyond traditional stores management, this role also encompasses critical safety, facilities, and administrative support, contributing to a safe and productive working environment.
Inventory and Materials Management
Oversee comprehensive inventory control, including receiving, storage, and accurate stock management (e.g., processing GRPOs, resolving discrepancies, conducting RMA checks, and managing the parts portfolio).
Maintain optimal stock levels for service spare parts and consumables through proactive management, regular checks, cycle counting, and efficient storage location assignment.
Logistics and Order Fulfilment
Manage efficient customer order fulfilment, from picking and packing to dispatch, coordinating with all stakeholders and obtaining Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
Ensure full compliance with customs, excise, and import & export regulations for international shipments, including preparing all necessary documentation.
Operations and Facilities Support
Operate and maintain computerised stock control systems (SAP, Salesforce) and ensure a clean, organised warehouse environment, including WEEE and waste management.
Support overall facility safety and operational readiness through equipment checks (e.g., Power Pallet Trucks), audit preparation, and managing PPE levels.
Safety and Training
Act as a certified Working at Heights Instructor (Ladder & Harness) and Fire Warden, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Serve as a First Aid Responder and perform specialised checks like DB (Sound Meter) meter calibration.
Support the safe management of dangerous goods in line with regulatory requirements, undertaking DGSA-related responsibilities as required.
Administrative and Communication
Handle stakeholder inquiries and manage consumable requisitions via Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Effectively prioritise tasks and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What You'll Bring
Experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory/operations support environments.
Strong understanding of stock control and inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
Certified in the safe use of warehouse handling equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, trolleys).
Knowledge of customs, excise, and import/export procedures is desirable.
Good awareness of health & safety practices; relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, Fire Warden) are a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
DGSA certification would be an advantage.
