**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead our human resources team in a dynamic and growing organization. As Cluster Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on all aspects of HR, including recruitment, compliance, learning and development, payroll, employee relations, and engagement.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong background in hotels or the service sector. They will possess up-to-date knowledge of employment law legislation, good HR practice, and its application, including advising on disciplinary and grievance matters. The successful candidate will also be CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment and Selection: Identify and attract top talent for the cluster, coach hiring managers on recruitment activities, develop succession plans, and manage labour turnover strategies.
* Compliance: Ensure implementation of people-related policies and procedures, best practice, and current legislation, taking ownership of procedures to ensure compliance among managers and staff.
* Learning and Development: Monitor and communicate training within teams, ensure personal development plans are in action for employees, identify local training needs, and oversee group induction processes.
* Payroll: Process weekly/monthly payroll, support general managers with annual budget preparation, and act as escalation point for any payroll queries.
* Employee Relations: Provide leadership in all aspects of employment law, coaching line managers in investigations and formal meetings, and advise management teams on people management.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a single-site or cluster HR Manager role, managing direct reports to deliver a quality HR service.
* A strong background in hotels or the service sector.
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law legislation, good HR practice, and its application, including advising on disciplinary and grievance matters.
* CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to support all levels of the team, influence senior managers, and build effective working relationships.
* Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
