Procurement Manager | 12-Month Contract | €60k+ | Little Island | Fully on-site w/ Co.
Cork travel Your new company You will be joining a manufacturing organisation that places a strong emphasis on efficiency, supplier performance and operational excellence.
The company is undergoing a period of focused improvement across its operations and requires an experienced Procurement Manager to support the business through a key phase of activity.
This is a 12-month contract role, with a €5,000 completion bonus paid upon successful fulfilment of the full contract term.
This is a fully onsite role in Little Island with once weekly travel to facility in Newmarket, Co.
Cork. Your new role As Procurement Manager, you will oversee all purchasing activities across the manufacturing operation, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, components and services.
You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure continuity of supply for production requirements.
You will partner closely with operations, engineering and finance to forecast demand, manage inventory levels and optimise procurement processes.
A key part of the role will involve assessing and developing supplier performance, resolving supply issues quickly and implementing best-practice procurement standards.
What you'll need to succeed 5+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage suppliers and drive cost efficiencies.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of supply chain risks.
Experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work autonomously and deliver results within defined timeframes.
