We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Processor to join the team on a fixed term contract until 28th August 2026.
As an Order Processor, you will be responsible for accurately processing and amending orders while building positive relationships with both internal and external customers. Your contribution will support the achievement of sales and volume targets by maximising orders and resolving any queries or errors. Additionally, you will assist customer service representatives in delivering excellent customer service.
As the Order Processor, your key responsibilities will be:
* Organisation of inbound email mailboxes and distribution of customer queries.
* Accurately process orders by direct order entry onto the Company's computer database and check and release orders.
* Making outbound calls to customers to clarify any order queries where required.
* Seek written confirmation from customers if there are any amendments to the original order/quotation.
* Create and maintain professional working relationships with all internal stakeholders, in particular ensuring close communication with Field Sales on all account management matters, especially in the area of issuing and recording prices.
* Ownership and accountability for their order book ensuring daily checks are completed, including advising customers of their collection & process.
* Thorough personal performance contribution to individual and team results in line with the departmental KPIs to help the company meet overall turnover and profitability.
Your key skills and experience will include:
* Previous experience in a Data Entry / Order Processing role.
* Experience of sales order processing.
* Experience of working within a busy, fast paced and demanding environment with the ability to work accurately within strict timescales.
* Computer literate - Intermediate knowledge.
* Willingness and confidence to make outbound calls.
* Willingness and openness to learning new skills.
* Self-motivated with a good telephone manner.
* Professional communication skills both verbally and written.
* Keen eye for detail with the ability to spot errors.
* Ability to Handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
* Resilience.
* Knowledge of SAP & CRM systems would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of products related to the roofing industry would be advantageous.
