We are Kids Inc. We provide Early Years and Afterschool Care services. With an experience of more than 25 years in the childcare industry, we're one of the most established organizations operating geographically all over Ireland. Our goal is to extend children's daily learning by involving them in a wide range of sports and creative programs, with a strict 'No Screen Time' policy. With 4 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin, Kids Inc is also hosting over 60 "Onsite" Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs throughout the country.About The RoleAs our Staffing Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all staffing requirements in our afterschool centres and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, while adhering to our Safeguarding standards, staff ratios, staffing compliance et al.Key ResponsibilitiesOverall responsibility for the scheduling of staff in each of the Afterschools so that staff to child ratios are maintained at all times. That there is adequate cover in each Centre as agreed with the DirectorsLiaising with Managers in a timely manner to advise on solutions to any gaps anticipated in staffing in each centre.To create rosters and staffing plans at least two weeks in advance for the centres and the relief panelFinding a solution to any gaps that you are notified of in respect of illness, holidays etc.To ensure that all holidays are reflected in the rosters supplied by the ManagersTo ensure that all rosters are updated where a team member change occurs for illness holidaysEnsuring that the relief panel is adequately staffed at all times.To report to the Manager of Operations on any matters of concern or breaches on a daily basis as needed and not less than once per weekTo prepare a weekly report for the Senior Management TeamTo liaise with the HR Manager as necessaryTo manage all data on Workforce regarding employee's status and updates thereafter.Working hours: MondayFriday, 07:3016:30.What's in it for you?Education Assistance ProgramCareer Progression OpportunitiesBike to work and tax saver travelStaff WellBeing Program for Mental and Financial Support23 days holidays + 10 Public holidaysEmployee discount on childcare costsHybrid working model (upon completion of probation period)Your profilePrevious experience with managing multiple staff schedules essentialPrevious HR administration experience essentialExperience in Irish Childcare company/knowledge of childcare regulations desirableExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fastpaced and everchanging environmentAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamEffective oral and written communication skillsExperience with CRM systemsQuick thinker and problemsolving skillsAll successful candidates will need to go through a Garda Vetting check and provide a Valid Police Certificate (applicable to employees who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months since over the age of 18).
