Currently, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dublin 12.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with engineering managers, leads, and peers on electrical and controls design and manufacturing of custom air handling equipment.
Creating and developing bespoke electrical panel designs and drawings in close coordination with the Electrical Panel manufacturing department.
Providing design and technical support throughout all project stages, including design development, bid proposal, approval, manufacturing, and documentation.
Reviewing project specifications and drawings related to electrical and control aspects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Creating detailed power distribution, control schematics, and electrical panel layouts using CAD software.
Performing electrical design calculations, including circuit ampacity and protection sizing.
Selecting and evaluating electrical components, preparing bills of materials, and compiling project submittals.
Collaborating with mechanical and controls engineering teams for integrated design coordination.
Providing technical support to internal teams and external customers, including during project bids.
Qualifications:
BSc.
Eng.
or B.Eng.
in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical diploma.
At least 3 years of experience in electrical and controls design of HVAC equipment.
Strong knowledge of industry controls, electrical products, and relevant codes.
Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and related electrical design software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
