Qualifications & Registration/Accreditation Candidates must hold one of the following: Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
Overseas-qualified applicants must provide evidence of validation by the Department of Health at the time of application.
Mental Health Nurse registered with An Bord Altranais, with additional training in Child Counselling/Psychotherapy/CBT, and demonstrable experience working with children and families.
Social Worker or Occupational Therapist registered with CORU, with additional training in Child Counselling/Psychotherapy/CBT, and demonstrable experience working with children and families.
Counsellor/Psychotherapist accredited by the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP), Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), or Irish Association for Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), with additional training and demonstrable experience working with children and families.
Professional Clinical Experience (Skills, Knowledge, Competence) Minimum of 1 year full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification/accreditation experience supporting children and/or adolescents with mental health needs.
Proven track record of working effectively with children/adolescents and their families.
