The successful candidate will assist the management team in the provision of an efficient catering service to the standards required by Aramark.Job ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with the management team, organize all staff requirements and rota's for all necessary duties, under your remit.Resolve customer complaints regarding food service.Train employees in food preparation, and in service, sanitation and safety procedures.Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service.To supervise the service of food and drink at each service point during the course of service.Be customer-focused at all times and conduct the service in a friendly and professional manner.Assist in the service at all times within the Department as requested, including front of house duties during busy periods.Advise management of any recommendations to style of service, menus, etc to ensure that the departments operation stays competitive and modern in its approach.Handling cash transactions and ensuring the correct cash handling procedures are followed in accordance with company procedureMaintain personal hygiene and appearance to a high standardComply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's policies and proceduresQualificationsPrevious Supervisor experienceTwo years' experience in a catering environmentExperience in a similar environment.Customer service experienceFood Hygiene certificate and experienceAbility to lead, motivate and form effective working relationships with team membersUse of IT packages such as Word, Excel, stock ordering packages etcCommitment and self-motivationGood timekeeping
