Our client an energy business who offer services in Power Trading, Consultancy and Environmental commodities across Ireland & Northern Ireland. The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the company's financial strategy to support rapid, scalable growth. You will lead all aspects of financial planning and analysis, capital raising, risk management, and financial operations, ensuring fiscal discipline while driving forward-looking investment and expansion decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
* Provide forward-looking insights to guide decision making across the executive team.
* Lead the financial modelling and scenario planning needed to scale the business
* Oversee and lead capital raising efforts (debt, equity, project finance), including investor relations.
* Partner with private equity, institutional investors, and banks to secure funding for growth initiatives.
* Implement and manage robust financial governance and risk management frameworks.
* Mitigate operational, market, and financial risks associated with rapid scaling.
* Oversee financial control, accounting, audit, treasury, and tax functions.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory financial requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

* Proven track record as CFO or senior finance executive in a high-growth environment, ideally in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
* Experience working with a company through significant revenue growth, scale-up, or IPO/private equity investment cycles.
* Expertise in capital raising, strategic finance, M&A, and financial operations.
* Strong understanding of energy market dynamics, regulatory environments, and project finance (renewables, generation, distribution, or similar).
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification; MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and sustainable growth.
