Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues in vehicles and heavy equipment.
* Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
* Inspect vehicles for potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance services performed.
* Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in diesel-powered vehicles.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
* Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults in diesel engines and equipment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
* Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using various hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
* Relevant certifications in diesel mechanics or automotive technology.
