About Your New Role
We are seeking a Hard Services Manager to oversee the delivery of all technical services within a brand-new, flagship smart building in Dublin City Centre, supporting a high-profile global professional services organisation. You will take full ownership of all hard services on site, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all building systems. Leading a team of engineers and specialist contractors, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance, managing technical performance, and driving continuous improvement across a highly visible, critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of all hard services, including electrical, mechanical, and building systems
Lead, mentor, and develop the on‑site engineering team
Oversee all PPM, reactive, and project works, ensuring full statutory compliance and safe delivery
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of all plant and equipment across the site
Manage subcontractors and specialist service providers, ensuring high standards and service delivery
Take ownership of operational budgets, cost control, and financial performance
Act as the main technical point of contact for the client, providing reporting and support
Drive continuous improvement across asset performance, lifecycle planning, and energy efficiency
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures, permits, and compliance documentation are maintained to the highest standards
What Skills You Need
Proven experience in a hard services or technical facilities management role ESSENTIAL
Ideally a trade qualification either electrical or mechanical, however technical experience is most important
Strong understanding of M&E systems within a commercial or critical environment
Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors
Solid knowledge of compliance, statutory requirements, and maintenance best practices
Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems and building performance tools
Strong organisational, leadership, and client-facing skills
Financial awareness, including budget and supplier management
