Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site Construction Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the construction phase of a project, ensuring it is completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
The Site Construction Leader will work closely with the Client and Design Team to plan and execute the project. This includes carrying out 'Constructability Reviews' and Interactive planning sessions to ensure the site construction phase and turnover phase are adequately provided with suitably capable personnel and resources.
The role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, procedures, and practices, particularly those relating to quality assurance, safety, personnel, and industrial relations. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
* 10+ years of experience in a similar role;
* Biotech/Pharma knowledge;
* Excellent multi-disciplinary knowledge;
* Excellent communication skills;
* People management skills.

Others:
As a Site Construction Leader, you will be responsible for:
* Managing construction and engineering teams and sub-contractors;
* Supervising and managing all site staff;
* Ensuring the project is constructed to the drawings, specifications, applicable standards, good construction practices, to schedule and in accordance with the cost budget;
* Directing and controlling the activities of assigned staff and their functions to comply with the cost budget requirement;
* Monitoring site accounting practices and control of site cash;
* Carrying out assessments and appraisals of staff and recording results in accordance with best practice.
