Job Description
This challenging position involves preparing detailed forecasts at contract award stage, managing subcontract and material procurement schedules, and drafting supply chain ITTs. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate cost-to-date recording at each month end, including calculation of project accruals.
In addition, you will:
* Prepare and maintain up-to-date Cost to Complete and Risk analysis Registers;
* Maximize cash position through effective WIP control, cash flow production, and improvement plans;
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering;
* Measure quantities in accordance with standard methods of measurement;
* Prepare Valuations/Application for payment to clients with supporting documentation;
* Administer contracts, including change management and maintenance of associated registers;
* Ensure proper client management and preparation/negotiation/agreement of compensation events;
* Manage subcontractor/supplier accounts from requisition preparation to final account agreement;
* Maintain correct site records and assist in work-winning duties as required;
Requirements
* Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics (RICS Accredited);
* Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent desirable;
* Full driving license;
* Commercially astute with excellent knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract and CESSM4 method of Measurement;
* 5+ years experience in quantity surveying;
* Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications;
* Excellent communication skills, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion abilities;
* Programming techniques, project controls, risk analysis, contract administration, procurement, cost, claims experience preferred;
* Marine & Civils experience beneficial.
