Staff Nurse (RNID/RGN/RSCN) – Teach Saoirse, Children’s Residential House, Nenagh, Co Tipperary
Contract Type: Full & Part Time Permanent Posts Available
Salary Scale: €35,621 to €52,010 pro rata per annum.
Overview of the Post:
To provide residential respite to families of children and young adults with disabilities in North Tipperary. The residential support service will be coordinated by the RRM/Service Coordinator, who will prioritise families to be involved in the service, who agrees with each family the type and level of support to be provided. The Nurse will be supervised by and work closely with the RRM/Service Coordinator. In order to provide a flexible support service, the Nurse will be required to work during evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will have:
* Have a nursing RNID/RGN/RSCN qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland.
* Be registered in RNID/RGN/RSCN and be on the live Register of Nurses kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* Maintain registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland throughout employment and provide evidence of renewal annually.
* Have experience working in a person‑centred health or social care setting.
* Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
* Hold a full clean driver’s licence and be willing to drive service transport.
* Possess basic IT skills.
* Hold a ‘D1’ licence or be prepared to obtain a ‘D’ or ‘D1’ licence.
* Experience working with adults or children with disabilities is desirable.
* Experience working within a residential/respite setting is an advantage.
