Due to continued expansion, HML Plant and Construction is looking to employ 5 Diesel Mechanics based in Buncrana, F93 FPK1. This is a permanent, full time position 40 hrs/week 38, 000 €/annum.ResponsibilitiesVisually checks, test drives or uses test equipment to diagnose engine and mechanical faultsRemoves, dismantles, repairs and replaces defective parts and prepares new parts using appropriate toolsReassembles, tests, adjusts and tunes the appropriate parts, systems or entire engineCarries out routine maintenance checks on oil and air filters, brakes and other vehicle parts/systemsDiagnoses faults in electrical/electronic circuitry, removes faulty components and fits replacementsChecks condition of electrical/electronic systems and carries out servicing tasksInstalls additional electrical amenities such as radio/CD players, aerialsRepairs and services air conditioning, heating and engine‑cooling systemsMust have Diesel and Petrol experience; however, more Diesel experience is required.The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be requested to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and overall business objectives of the organization.
