Job Description
As an Administration & Project Accountant at placeme-recruitment, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business growth by providing financial expertise and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly sales data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Routine performance measurement and analysis to optimize routes and maximize efficiency.
* Internal departmental costings and analysis to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
* Payroll cost monitoring and analysis to maintain compliance with company policies.
* Daily stock control and analysis to prevent losses and optimize inventory management.
* Oversee adherence to credit control procedures to minimize bad debts and improve cash flow.
* Ensure adherence to internal controls company-wide to safeguard assets and maintain a secure environment.
* Ad-hoc project work as provided by the General Manager to support business objectives.
Requirements:
* You must hold an accountancy qualification from a recognized accountancy body (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
* Must possess relevant industry or practice experience to apply theoretical knowledge effectively.
* Very proficient with computers, especially Excel, to manage complex data sets and perform analytical tasks.
* Capable of working on own initiative and possess good analytical skills to make informed decisions.
