This role involves supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a warm, homely, and person-centred environment. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support with personal care, life skills, and community activities Promote independence, dignity, and overall quality of life for residents Assist in the implementation of Person-Centred Plans Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet residents' needs Essential Requirements QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent Minimum 6 months' experience in a care setting (experience in disability services preferred) Full, clean Irish/EU driving licence Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and nights Strong communication and interpersonal skills Shifts & Hours We offer an attractive 4-week rolling roster, rotating with another staff member: Week 1: 35 hours Week 2: 32 hours Average: 33 hours per week on a permanent contract Shifts include a mix of days, evenings, and some nights (minimal night shifts over the 4-week cycle) 2 Sunday shifts per month, paid at double time Additional relief hours available across all residential settings if desired No overnight sleepovers This role is perfect for someone seeking a stable permanent position with flexible and rewarding work in a supportive care environment.
