Process Improvement Engineer Job Description
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing the manufacturing process, collaborating closely with the Engineering and Production departments to develop and implement efficient production methods. This involves working diligently to ensure that all products meet customer specifications and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement optimal production processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address production bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for production processes.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
* Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and procedures.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plastics engineering, preferably with a degree in a related field. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in injection moulding is essential, along with a solid understanding of injection mould tooling and design. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are also required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
