We are seeking a full time (39 hrs per week) experienced Chef De Partie for the Kinsale Hotel & Spa. The applicant should be a highly motivated individual, with a minimum of two years experience as Chef De Partie in a hotel setting. There will be on going training conducted within the department .
Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Working alongside the Head Chef and entire kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
-Work varying shifts including morning, afternoons and weekends - flexibility is essential
- Delivering the very highest standards of food and service at all times
- Ensuring that all dishes are prepared to specification
- Ensuring that the property remains fully compliant in terms of hygiene, health and safety
- Working as part of a progressive and ambitious team
- Assist in training junior staff
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of two years experience.
- Excellent communication & time management skills
- Be an excellent team player & place huge emphasis on food quality and customer service
- HACCP trained
- Highly motivated
Responsibilities/Duties Hours of Work: You will need to be available to cover evening and weekend shifts. Flexibility is a must .
