Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Conference and Banqueting Manager to lead our hospitality team in Carlow. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service standards while maintaining the highest level of quality in all aspects of the hotel.
• Collaborate with Heads of Departments to align goals and objectives, ensuring seamless communication and effective teamwork.
• Address guest complaints professionally and promptly, providing resolutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and maintenance, reporting any issues for prompt attention.
• Oversee daily tasks and activities, guaranteeing consistency and efficiency in all operations.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed, ensuring they reflect changing standards and practices.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees, helping them develop their skills and achieve personal growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the hotel.
• Foster a proactive approach to service, encouraging a positive and engaging experience for guests.
• Conduct weekly reviews of floor and bar team members' schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels and effective resource allocation.
• Deliver clear and concise briefings to team members, promoting understanding and alignment with hotel goals.
• Uphold strict standards of personal hygiene and uniform throughout all outlets, reflecting the hotel's commitment to excellence.
The Ideal Candidate:
2-3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a 4 or 5-star environment
