CNC Machinist Job Description
Your new role as a CNC Machinist is responsible for manufacturing precision components compliant with drawing requirements including tolerances and specifications.
You will work closely with the Value Stream Manager to ensure the production of high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture precision components using CNC machines
* Carry out self-verification of technical compliance with appropriate measuring equipment and techniques
* Operate CNC mill turn / mills / gear shaping machines
* Interpret engineering drawings to ISO standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* NVQ L3 in a relevant discipline or equivalent
* Experience in an engineering/manufacturing/aerospace environment
* Experience of setting operating twin spindle, twin turret, multi-axis CNC machine tools
