This role offers the opportunity to manage high-profile, regulated projects from conception through to completion, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients in a dynamic, professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage mission-critical mechanical/MEP projects, ensuring delivery to GMP, safety, and regulatory standards.Plan, schedule, and monitor all project activities, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.Coordinate Engineering, QA, BIM, Procurement, and subcontractor teams to resolve issues and maintain efficiency.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality regulations.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, including contract negotiations.Prepare progress reports for clients and senior management, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.Candidate RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5+ years’ experience as a Project or Contracts Manager in mechanical/HVAC projects, ideally with prior project engineering experience.Proven experience in pharmaceutical, mission-critical, or high-spec MEP construction projects.Excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.Full driving license required.What We OfferFlexible freelance engagement on high-profile pharmaceutical projects.Opportunity to lead regulated, technically challenging builds.Collaborative and professional project environment.Competitive freelance rates aligned with experience and project scope.
